Amalaki (also known as Amla) refers to the Indian gooseberry, a small, sour, green fruit native to Southeast Asia, particularly India. It has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine due to its numerous reputed health benefits, especially for its immune support, supporting digestion, and promoting overall vitality. 

There are many uses of the Amla Indian gooseberry which comes from the Amalaki tree.
